The 14th World congress of the IFSO will be held from Wednesday, August 26 to Saturday, August 29, 2009 and will take place at :

The Paris Congress Center is located at a few minutes walking distance from the Champs Elysées.
The official language of the 14th World Congress of the IFSO is English.

Call for abstracts opens November 7, 2008.
Deadline for abstracts submission is March 31, 2009.
Kindly note that you must be registered to the congress to be able to submit an abstract.
A technical exhibition will be held during the congress, close to the sessions’ rooms, the posters and meals areas. It will offer an excellent opportunity for companies to display their products and services.

All tours depart from and return to the Palais des Congrès de Paris
Bilingual guides (French/English) will accompany each tour.
Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Early booking is recommended, as on-site availability cannot be guaranteed.
Children under 7 will not be admitted on tours
The organizers reserve the right to cancel tours with less than 15 participants.

The French currency is the Euro. All congress rates are quoted in Euros.
Official letters of invitation can be sent by the Congress Office upon written request. These letters do not commit the Congress to any financial obligation. It is the participant’s sole responsibility to verify entry requirements into France. Requests for letters of invitation will be processed until July 6, 2009.
Foreign delegates (except subjects of EC countries and Switzerland) should contact the nearest French consulate or embassy regarding visa formalities for their visit. Please allow sufficient time for visa requests.
